Breaking Network Alert- ILWU & PMA Agreement

Hard Deck Logistics has just learned that the Pacific Maritime Association ("PMA" - the association that represents the shipowners and ports) and the International Longshore & Warehouse Union ("ILWU"- representing the dockworkers) have reached a tentative agreement on a new six-year contract covering workers at all 29 West Coast ports. The deal was reached with assistance from acting U.S. Secretary of Labor Julie Su.
